Postdoctoral Fellowship Opening
Open position for a postdoctoral fellowship on an institutional training grant (T32).
The goal of this training program is to prepare researcher-scholars for the broad field of speech-language disorders in children and adults. The program brings together faculty from a variety of disciplines, including communicative disorders, psychology, educational psychology, biostatistics and medical informatics, and neurology.

Lecturer in Communicative Disorders (CD 709)
Teach CD 709 - Language Problems of School Age Children and Adolescents. The Lecturer will prepare and give lectures on child language and learning disorders in children; prepare class projects and other evaluative mechanisms (tests), and evaluate student performance, including all test and project grades as well as the final course grade. Regular weekly office hours will be established and held, with extra help made available to students who need and/or request it.

Communicative Disorders Instructor (CD 891)
Teach CD 891: Clerkship in Audiology I. Administer and evaluate practical exams and quizzes for students. Regular office hours will be established and held, with extra help made available to students who request it. This person will also supervise students in the UW Speech and Hearing Clinic over the spring semester 2012. Clinical responsibilities include supervision of students and evaluation of students to verify clinical skills.
